In planning and organizing information and materials to reach and persuade customers we rely on scientific research into the process of Influence first revealed by Dr. Robert Cialdini in his landmark book “Influence: the Psychology of Persuasion.“ The principles revealed by Dr. Cialdini and his team lay out six core drivers that can affect how people are encouraged to make choices in specific directions and in their own interest. These principles have been proven to dramatically improve rates of cooperation among people for a variety of worthy causes.
In the arena of creative development we draw from the work of Doug Hall outlined in his book “Jump Start Your Brain.” Doug is the founder of Eureka Ranch in Cincinati, Ohio and a former Product Genius for Proctor & Gamble. The tools described in Doug’s book have been described as “a reliable system that delivers increased innovation speed (up to 6x) and decreased risk (30-80%). Our experience with this system of tools has shown it to be consistently better than random brainstorming or what-if’ing.
